Starbucks/Verizon Retail Facility – Fuquay Varina, North Carolina
Starbucks new stand-alone prototype is a 1,750 square foot building. The building’s structure consists of 2x6 wood framing with wood I-Joists and plywood sheathing on the exterior wall and roof. The exterior skin is comprised of brick, EFIS, and aluminum storefront with arched laminate beams and a metal trellis for accent. The typical site size is approximately .5 acre. The HVAC is provided via two roof-top units with a trunk line of duct work from each unit. The exterior site package includes curb and gutter, asphalt paving, concrete patio, landscaping and an irrigation system. The concrete patio includes an architectural fence to separate the patio from the traffic area.

Verizon’s new stand-alone prototype consists of a 4,500 square foot building. The building is a steel structure with metal decking and concrete slab. The exterior building skin is comprised of brick, EIFS, and aluminum storefront. The HVAC is provided via three roof-top units. Full site development including grading, curb, paving and landscaping were provided. The total project duration from start of site grading to completion which allows for interior finish installation is 10 weeks.
