Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools Oversight Committee
A M King Partner Brian King has served a 3 year appointment to the CMS Bond Oversight Committee and just recently was appointed to another term.
The committee oversees the $1.2 billion school construction bond program which is responsible for the construction of new schools and the renovation of existing older schools.
This continues Brian’s long term relationship with the CMS system, beginning as a parent of 3 children in the school system, to his previous board membership of Junior Achievement where he served as oversight of the implementation and construction of the Exchange City Facility.
