ALDI Food Distribution Facility — South Windsor, Connecticut
This new 500,000 square foot facility is scheduled for completion in September of 2008. The building includes 130,000 square feet of refrigerated space, and 17,000 square feet of Class A office space. In addition to providing design-build services for the project, A M King provided full site selection and purchase negotiations, and managed the state and local project approval process. A M King also negotiated over $10 million of state and local incentives on behalf of the owner. In addition to providing full development of the 104 acre site, A M King also provided extensive off-site roadway construction and improvements. The total construction duration is 15 months.
