Bowling to Help Our Youth
To help support the education of our youth, A M King Construction recently sponsored 3 teams of bowlers made up of not only our employees, but our families in the JA 2007 Bowl-A-Thon.
Junior Achievement uses hands-on experiences to help young people understand the economics of life. In partnership with business and educators, Junior Achievement brings the real world to students, opening their minds to their potential. Participating in the Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon is a lot of fun, but more importantly it will help impact the lives of nearly 70,000 students - from Asheville to Charlotte to Wilmington and throughout the central Carolinas - during the 2007-2008 school year. JA does this by using hands-on experiences to help young people understand the economics of life.
