Aldi Corporate Headquarters Expansion 2 | Batavia, IL
This expansion consists of a new 6-story building which includes 81,500 SF of Class A office space, conference rooms, training facilities and supplier meeting rooms. The expansion connects to an existing 5-story Corporate Purchasing Building completed by A M King in 2005. Interior finishes include granite flooring and stairs, ceramic tile, vinyl wall covering and carpet. The exterior skin consists of architectural precast panels and an aluminum window system to match the existing facility. In addition to the office expansion, a new concrete parking lot was built to accommodate sixty-five (65) employee parking spaces. Site work included construction of a block retaining wall, utility relocation and the enlarging of an existing storm detention area.
