The 30,000-square-foot facility expansion, located in Mt. Airy, North Carolina, features two fully automated baking production lines. The two new lines include tunnel ovens, proofers, scoring stations, spiral freezers, and packaging and conveying equipment.
The existing facilities’ infrastructure proved to be inadequate to support the two new production lines; therefore requiring the integration of all new electrical services, boiler systems and compressed air services. The project was completed in the Spring of 2011 on April 29th.
A M King provided a range of professional services to Harvest Time Bread Company, including: process engineering, architectural design, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, and contracting services.
