BTK Holdings Office Building — Charlotte, NC
A M King Construction provided a total renovation to transform an existing office from a state of disrepair to a new Class A office building. The existing building skin and interiors were fully removed with only the structural frame and floor slabs remaining. A new brick and glass skin exterior was added. The building also received totally new HVAC and electrical systems. The interiors were fully renovated, and feature slate floors and bamboo wall panels in the lobbies. In addition, all work was done in accordance with green building standards and the BTK Holdings Office Building is LEED® Silver certified. Construction began in January, 2009, and completed June, 2009.
