ALDI Food Distribution Facility — South Windsor, Connecticut
This new 500,000 square foot facility was completed in September of 2008. The building includes 130,000 square feet of refrigerated space, and 17,000 square feet of Class A office space. In addition to providing design-build services for the project, A M King Construction provided full site selection and site purchase, and managed the state and local project approval process. A M King Construction also negotiated over $10 million of state and local incentives on behalf of the owner. In addition to providing full development of the 104 acre site, A M King Construction also provided extensive off-site roadway construction and improvements. The total construction duration was 15 months.
